    FB is a vast wasteland of disguised ads, personal data collection (read password hints) in the form of "innocent games" such as "without telling me your age what was the first concert you attended", social engineering etc. Possibly every fifth entry might be something from someone about which you wish to read. Unfortunately some groups with which I need stay connected use FB.
