Not with Canadian, but I've had a few bad experiences with local and Indian customs. Sigh. What's up?

Nope. Just had a box of stuff sent back from China via DHL with no issues.

Here, they are documentation mad. I've had to do an affidavit that Thad Ginathom is the same person as Ginathom Thad. And fight with them over "address does not match" when a line has been truncated in their system

They of course blame customs. And nobody thinks that India Customs is /easy/ to deal with.

Verite Closed stuck in customs hell. They asked for invoice, which ZMF already provided and I had to resend. Then they got hung up on the earpad pad bag, asking what material is it made of? Never had these issues with any shipper, including DHL, before.

It probably means that they are having more issues with customs.

I think you are right. DHL has been very slow to respond to inquiry though.

I've had issues with customs and all the carriers this last while (Toronto, ON). I think it's pandemic slow-down. DHL is usually quite good, but I had something from China sitting in customs for a week recently.
