My Roon on my M1 Mac keep causing kernel panics and using too much RAM when not in use. One time I saw it using 8 GB or RAM and no music was playing. Thankfully I paid by the year so if this doesn't get fixed I won't renew.

@YMO what're u gonna switch over to instead? right now (literally this moment) i've switched to BubbleUPNP (using my Shanling M6), but ideally i'd like to find a iOS solution so i can use my iphone/ipad like idid with roon

Don't need to switch when I always been running UPnP on the side as well. mConnect is what is available on iOS/iPadOS. Less features, but still works as well as BubbleUPnP. I still have a side load Android Amazon Fire Tablet with BubbleUPnP when I need it.

I wonder if it's bad karma for having gone into bed with Bob Stuart. I mean I know it's not, but I hope it's MQA wreaking havoc, poetic justice and all that

Still bummer for you guys though that's fer sure. Nothing out of the ordinary with this latest update on the Windows side I can report. Core has always had a slow memory leak, so I reboot it once a week or so, but that's not new

Odd, my Mac Roon core has been fine, it updated a day or two ago. (It's pre M1). Sucks to hear you're having so many issues :(

I am now having problems maintaining connections to HQPlayer, it sucks!

My roon is completely borked. Doesn't even launch.

Took some time. but ive now set up mConnect to work with my Pi2AES (moode) & my pizero(picoreplayer). f**k you roon. canceling now.

I had issue for a night after update as ROCK just refused to connect to internet but the morning after update it was stable.

@YMO helped me setup Bubble UPnP with Qobuz and it works awesomely. Although I forget to hit Stop instead of just pause when I am done.
