I'm getting some help right now to figure out how the entire magnet assembly is laid out since of course it's not one piece. I'd hope if it's manufactured correctly it'd just be as simple as removing the spider and taking out the old mag assembly, and dropping the new one in its place.
Well, I hope you're able to figure it out. The last time I tried removing a magnet in a 650 it took the red driver ring with it. Completely destroying the driver in the process.
Very interested, I've been wanting to try this for years. I'd want the DIY NdFeB one assuming it's the more powerful, and the TPE diaphragm can take it.
