i like morrow audio cables. i’ve upgraded most of my power cables and they make a small incremental difference

Viablue x-40 bulk cable+ silver viborg connectors + 30 mins of work = very good cable for money.

I upgraded the power cord on my Ampsandsound Kenzie Ovation with a shielded aftermarket for around $65. The amp sits near my monitor and computer so I wanted to avoid nervosa about interference and this is worth my piece of mind.

I’ve heard good things about pangea power cords and use two in my 2.1 due to proximity to the TV, speakers, and game systems.

Haven't heard a huge difference in any cables, but minimal experience. Only tried the normal black cables and some thicc chinese ones that were too inflexible.

I'm gonna get huge flack, but I love nordost power cords and found they've improved dynamics, resolution, bass, and overall engagement in my system. I hate that I like them, because they're expensive, but I a/b'd multiple times and that's what I found for me. TBH though I'd say don't worry unless your system is already "maxed" out/really good, as headphones > amps > dacs > cables from my experience

I bought 3 from Cullen Cable - for DAC, Phonostage, and CD player. Plug too big for phonostage, so bought Cardas Parsec. Bought Nordost BH for amp. Similar experience to @pure5152.

Same experience as @pure5152 here as well. I have all Pangea power cables hooked up to everything.

@rhythmdevils @Cryptowolf @pure5152 Power cable changes made a more noticeable difference than interconnects for me. My ears just aren't that good, I guess.

I think I know what folks mean when they say “less smeared” in reference to how their system sounds.

@rhythmdevils those Pangea cords are quite stout. I’ve got a couple around - one on my PC, another on a sub, and another as a spare.

no I actually agree with that. super controversial, but the things that made most difference for me (in order):
- upgrading power distribution block
- power cables
- better usb cable
- interconnects

The distribution block upgrade is huge, I'd suggest doing that before any more/other power cable upgrades. Ideally one that does star grounding.

@pure5152 I haven't considered upgrading USB cable. I have Audioquest Forest USB cables to Gungnir Multibit and ModiMB. Which USB cables have you tried?

@pure5152 I have a PS Audio Dectet for my main system; Pangea Audio Octet Premier SE for my secondary system. They did make a difference.
