The selection really makes me question the relevance of BA and DD iems. Many of these are really really good. Some have tuning issues but still show great potential. No BA timbre, no coherency issues, no upper midrange peaky DD response. small ortho drivers work really well in iems.
As a guy who prioritize the sound tactility, which one of those is the most tactle and least ethereal?.
I am a low level listener so anything shy of excellence regarding macrodynamic is not for me, especially on the go where environmental noise mask the macrodynamics.
Full write up to come, but the Audeze Euclid is technically the best. But the S12 with micropore tape mod and Gold Planar with micropore tape are very close and have a different tuning which I prefer. But for what you're looking for, I would say the Euclid is a great bet. It is the most refined and has that "bigger" sound from the larger diver.
