42% more expensive than the X creator package, hard to believe it worth the extra. I really hope they provide the same package for this one too.

I hate the new headband and cup design of the LCD-5 but I’m curious about the driver.

Maybe we should ask for this for loaner instead of the LCD-5. It’s within more budgets.

I don't think it's supposed to be a replacement, it's shilled as being more "studio" oriented. Fixing the upper mid dip? Or adding shrill treble like many "studio" 'phones? I hope it sounds good.

Single sided magnet design, different diaphragm, trace and magnet structure than the LCD-5. Machined aluminum body, metal headband with no holes in the leather. Uses LCD-X diaphragm, sounded better than LCD-X but it should for costing more.
