800 is dogshit now or???

No @Erroneous and its up to the user. My modded 800s are still here, the Clear i have no intention to use or put on my ears again. That piercing metallic treble is awful for me.

@Walderstorn Yeah I love my 800. Way better fit for me than Clear but I get that we all have our preferences and each system is different.

To my ears the Clear is the slowest of the open-back Focals, but still pretty quick overall

To be clear, I'm not saying they're shit. I was just commenting on th speed, which is extremely noticeable. I still cant listen to this vanilla 800 without EQ, and even then it still has major issues (not sure how different the early S/N versions sounded). The bass quality is astounding though.

@ColtMrFire 100% Valid. 800 is showing its age. Used to seem clear as a bell but against modern stuff it's congested. Comfort, headstage, and personal history is why we're still together. If I buy another hp, it will probably be a focal though. Atrium is bussin but my wallet halp
