Fall quite a bit behind the WH-1000MX5 in most ways, but to be expected. As long as I can get a full LOTR extended movie out of them before recharging, calling it a win.

Interesting. While I like the WH-1000MX3 the least, I find them more comfortable than the XM2 or XM4. I am sure I am an outlier and that most people will have your opinion, since I have small head. The XM3 has a headband that is smaller and adjust smaller, which I find more comfortable.

@Vansen These are the WF's, the in ear models. I shouldn't compare across form factor, but obviously, the ANC both passive and active for the in ear are not as good as the most recent over ear. I have been meaning to respond to your findings saying that I haven't had many problems with the MX5's, though they go to sleep awfully fast if taken off the head.

@gixxerwimp https://www.ebay.com/itm/265230176953. Came in non-retail packaging, but looks new. So far, no issues found, but if something crops up, 30 day return plus 2 year warranty. The store crops up on deal sites all the time and seem to be good enough.

Just got mine from eBay. I have to bump up the treble a little, I’m amazed at quality of sound and ANC.
