Thanks all! I thought it would be handleable, especially after the initial fever subsided quite quickly. But I had a bad night. Very painful throat, cough, etc.

Getting medical advice today.

After spending two fairly pleasant hours in a local private-hospital "Fever Clinic" I seem to be human again. Nebulizers, drips... wonderful stuff. The greatest part of my pain was from a throat infection.

More test results tomorrow. Wasn't given any of the fancy new covid anti-virals: the doc thought I'd be fine in a week without them.

The madcat will laugh again :)
