    Is the balanced out remarkably different? I didn’t try yet because I don’t have any 4.4mm cables, and I thought it wouldn’t matter as it isn’t really balanced, anyway?

    not a huge difference, just a little more power per the specs. I'm only running BAL out to stay apples-to-apples (sort of) when comparing across gear... and also cause i'm lazy and don't feel like switching out headphone cables

    I only tried it on the first couple days I had it, but I felt that the SE out was slightly softer than the BAL out, which already isn't edgy at all, so I never used it again. BAL also has more power but the dongle is plenty powerful for iems already.
