I've been getting emails from Spectrum for over a year. Someone has incorrectly configured my email with them, we don't even have Spectrum in Canada. I click the unsubscribe link every time I see one, but it clearly does not do anything. Fortunately they mostly go to my spam box now.

I’m a huge fan of businesses implementing services like statuspage.io. Slack has a decent example of a status page implementation at status.slack.com
