Was it an interesting argument at least, or redeeming in any way? (Doubtful.) We had these neighbors across the driveway in Chicago who would argue in clichés. "If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times!" It was hilarious.
The worst that ever happened to me in a restaurant was a very pretty, very smart girl at a dinner party who was offended by something (unclear what). Out of nowhere, she exploded, "Oh, f**k you!!! I am *not* talking to you anymore!" I rolled my eyes purposely for the whole table to see, and drily said, "If any of you gentlemen needs me, I'll be at the bar." And casually walked away.
Given our proximity to one another I've probably been at that sushi place. But some of the other places I've been, i'd imagine an old angry asian woman coming out from the kitchen to give the offenders a verbal beating and large dose of shame.
