    15 snips and cuts to remove skin growths. Armpits of fire for several days now. Can't have usual pain killers due to cardiac meds. It might be awhile before I can speak politely to anyone.

    Since childhood, I've noticed that one of the most painful things we can do to ourselves is a graze. Skin-surface stuff hurts much more than a deeper cut.

    Have moved from pain to itchy phase. Getting better.
    As @Thad E Ginathom mentions, it seems to be the simple stuff that can create painful, major mental distractions. Listening to music and liberal consumption of C9H16O2 has been helpful to mute the pain.

    Pain be damned I'm glad it's not cancer. I wouldn't wish the pain on anyone, least of all you, but cancer even less so. Glad you're on the mend.

    @Jinxy245 & @Wilson : agreed. Cancer is very bad news. My wife (& best friend) is a 20+ year survivor. Chemo & radiation back then were brutal. So in comparison I'm kind of whining.
