Pity HQPlayer doesn't work with AMD GPUs. The CUDA offload makes the difference between being able to do DSD512 upsampling or not for my current rig...I hate to think I'll be reliant on a scummy company like NVidia forever.

@nithhoggr - I did not know there was GPU audio applications.

@Cspirou You don't have to use a GPU for HQPlayer, but there's the option of offloading some of the CPU load of upsampling to the GPU, as long as you have an NVidia GPU. For PCM it's really not necessary -- a Raspberry Pi can handle PCM upsampling these days -- but depending on how high you're upsampling and what filter you're using, DSD can be a workout for even a high-end gaming PC.
