    It's not just audio. I've spent nearly 20 years dealing with people abbreviating meteorological to MET in all caps like it's an acronym in both the wind and solar worlds. MET tower MET data get the MET file.

    Not all acronyms are capitalised. By their very nature, they lead themselves to not being. But then... like I said, people don't know what acronyms are.

    Curious. DAC/dac is an acronym: ADC/adc is not.
