    I need to wear them to modify my RD-S12 iem's because metal shards fly everywhere. But I need to be able to drill holes in very precise locations to keep them even and all the safety glasses I have mess with my depth perception enough that it's impossible to be precise enough.

    Laser guide? Gun barrel mount rail with laser attachment should be sturdy. Or a mini drill press with designated laser accessory.

    I already use a drill press. The problem is getting the drill in the right spot when my depth perception is messed up by the safety glasses.

    A large magnifying glass with lamp would work as a safety barrier and help you see. They have eyeglass versions too

    what about a face shield instead of goggles? or different drill bit or speed that produces cleaner shavings? or shop vac right at the cutting point?
