If youre willing to mod, try sealing the driver baffle. On 6XX it reduced upper mids a lot and attenuated relatively less the rest above too. Getting a 600 to mod will be my next project. I think 600 has more potential than 6XX mainly due to bass distortion characteristics.

There was 800 love on this site, then the 650/6XX, and now I hope the 600 gets its due. Not that there aren’t fans here, but it really deserves more than being in the shadow of its siblings.

@Claritas this time Stellaris and Euforia with Spring 2. Last time I didn't emotionally connect with it, if that makes any sense.

@dubharmonic That makes perfect sense. Emotional connexion is what matters most. Without it, I have little desire to listen. And HD-600 can be hard to connect with, because it sounds like nothing special. There's no wow factor. It's swell that you're giving it another go. I wish you luck with it.
