    Recently switched when I had been happily using shipstation via PayPal. Both seem cheaper and are easier than going from UPS directly. Seems pirateship is just a tad cheaper sometimes compared to shipstation. Very easy to use, copy paste address works well

    The one thing that threw me once: I created and paid for a label but realized it was wrong. So I had to “return” it, which was easy but they gave me a credit, not a refund. Not a big deal since I used it on next shipment but just something to be aware of

    You can add insurance with pirate ship. It’s part of the details you can enter when creating a shipment.

    Pirate Ship is fantastic, especially since UPS was recently added. And their insurance is terrific! I've filed two claims now directly with Pirate Ship for UPS shipments and both were painless and I received claim reimbursements within a week or two of filing the claim.
