Just had my first boxing match in 4 years. I lost but it felt great to get back in. At 42 I'm happy just to make it to the end of the fight.

I can't tell you how proud I am of you. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get back in the ring. My old man was college champion for his weight class: 160 pounds of pure muscle, and equal parts boxer and puncher. I've never been in that league: I didn't grow up being attacked by big Irish kids. His excellent physique is why his going bald early didn't bother him in the least.

Be sure to check out the latest posthumous comp, “Picture of Bunny Rabbit.” It’s excellent, and a great compliment to World of Echo since the material was recorded around the same period.

No need to even smoke marijuana, you can use a dry herb vaporizer and get better flavor, more and better high, and can make powerful weed drinks out of the leftovers. Tobacco pretty much has to be smoked or chewed though.

All the parts cover the cutout hole by a good margin, so it should look fine even if I get a little sloppy.

... most of the holes for that should just be circles no? , even just 1 hole per binding post/switch/ .25" jack. Probably not so hard with just a drill on a metal enclosure... that's what I did, but no hp jacks~ maybe I clean up the holes a little bit with a small file.

@Wobbletits the switches are rectangular, but otherwise yes, easy to drill. The plastic case is already ordered and I don't think digikey offers free returns. I've squandered a bunch of cash on this stupid project already so I'm just gonna go with it.

@dBel84 I was also thinking about finding a design online and hiring you to build it. There are very few options for higher power AC synchronous motors and the ones that exist are $$$. My other thought is to buy the "Total Eclipse Package" from Sota, but I'm waiting to see if one comes up on the used market.

@Vansen yep, but I think they ditched the Falcon and changed the Eagle to Condor. Now it's way more expensive and you have to buy their motor with it, since I'm guessing it has less power handling capability than the Falcon.

The whole system was insane, and incredibly dynamic, though at normal listening levels in my small room the 604's are doing a great job of dynamics. Just need to figure out bass re-enforcement. After hearing that setup I'm considering a Trio 15 style speaker with the 604's in the center. I'm hoping that could get me flat down to the mid-low 30's without padding the compression driver.

@RestoredSparda ikr? It was built in '54 - prime nuclear panic time, but the painted part in the middle really confuses me. I assume it was the original ceiling, why did someone laminate over it again with drywall AND reenforced concrete board? Luckily I have a leftover length of floor trim thats the perfect size to act as a spacer for the single sheet of drywall I'm using to patch.
