    It's a lovely piece of kit. If I hadn't already built around Atrium when it came out, it would have been the choice.

    Caldera is easy to drive but quite amp picky. My first impression was quite negative but looking back I think because I used the wrong amp. Also the thicker pad should be the default pad because it seems to sound more balanced, midrange is less honky.

    I tried it with both. The B was enjoyable, but with WE 300bs it's a little funky in the lower mids for some reason. MJ3 makes them sing and mitigates most of my mid issues. I really enjoy them on that amp. Both amps were used Yggdrasil GS. I like stock pads, but the thicks are even better for me and remove basically all foibles in the midrange that made me pause a little.
