Seems like it would be hard to do well, plus the whole chain being used actually matters. I've only got a few good ones myself
1) Shittastic turntables; 2) Analog to Digital conversion is causes trauma to the music; 3) People who don't know what the f**k they are doing
Hmm, I find albums that I know from CD, and discover are mastered differently on vinyl sound much better, despite crappy ADC's, surface noise, etc.
There are some vinyl rips that manage to retain their Gauravidians. I have a pbthal rip of The Joshua Tree that connects with me emotionally in a way no digital master has ever done.
