    I heard the last remaster on vinyl also had pressing problems, so there's that too.

    The MFSL recently replaced a needledrop of a UK first pressing in my digital library, mostly because the needledrop had too much surface noise and some slight distortion here and there.

    The best I ever heard the album was on the Pono player with the Oppo PM-3. It smoothed out all the harsh edges. The perils of getting more neutral and resolving gear.
