It would make me nervous but maybe I would take a chance. There is Paypal protection. That 120 hours of testing sounds like it might be made up. If it is, that would ruin their credibility to me. The packaging sounds good.
I didn't go through steps to see the shipping charges. I looked mainly at Line Magnetic. No USA voltage available on those. That "legal" statement struck me as odd, then I thought it is an awkward way of saying how long they have been a company.
Yeah, they're pretty shady. Cheapest I've seen on Line Magnetic though. The other brands I don't care for. Maybe all that shit about packaging is to explain why it doesn't arrive in the original? I'm betting it's all fell off the back of the truck stuff.
That "ANTI-PRESSURE PACKAGING TECHNIQUE" is stated to also protect the original packaging. And you can forgo the 120 hours of testing for immediate shipping. It all looks too good to be true, though.
I have purchased a Xindak integrated amp from them and was very pleased with the communication, shipping, packaging, and quality of the amp. Very pleased.
But after that, negura (who bought many things from there) received a box of weights instead of his amp after being asked to directly wire the money rather than PayPal. Though I had a great experience, negura's situation should be a big red flag.
I also saw a review from last November where someone received a much smaller, cheaper amp than what they ordered and it was accompanied by two marble plaques to give it weight.
Seems like maybe at one time they were a legit business that has possibly been acquired by some illegit people or something.
