Thanks guys. I ended up waiting 1.5hrs outside to even get into the fair. My friend came late and couldn't get in cause she didnt have the pass that they were handing out. There weren't any interesting companies for me, and it was tiny. But at least I got to hand in my resume with the dept of civil services.
Well I guess an experience is an experience! I'll need a drink when I get home.
Never go to a job fair unprepared. You better have a whole spiel ready and have all possible questions they might ask ready to answer with a good response and/or example. If you can't confidently sell yourself, they won't be interested. You can have the best resume ever, but if they aren't feeling YOU (yes, down your pants and everything), you probably aren't getting anywhere.
Thanks for the advice guys. Like I said, there weren't any companies that I was interested in to begin with. But I wanted to see what it was like being inside of a job fair so that when there is one with companies that I'm interested in, I will be prepared.
