How are you attempting this? Doesn't the Switch just have HDMI out and a lineout?

USB. The newest update (4.0.0) silently added support for USB audio output with wireless headsets using a receiver. I was hopeful that USB audio devices were also supported. That's not the case. I'm going to look into purchasing an HDMI switcher with Toslink and coax out to see if that works.

Try a powered usb hub in between. Might not be enough power.

I had success using the Fulla 2 directly with the Switch. The Yggdrasil did not work. I've also had success using a HDMI audio extractor with optical out into the Yggdrasil with a PSTV. I would assume that this would work with the Switch as well, but I haven't tested it.

The brand was SGRICE, but it isn't available anymore on Amazon.

The equipment should be delivered Saturday. I will let you know if it works. Thank you all for the advice and information.

Using an Xbox one as a splitter works.

Crazy. I have no idea why it would work from the Switch, but not from my Oppo into Yggdrasil. I tried all outputs and settings on box and player too.

    Congrats though!

That's unfortunate. I wish I could help but I have zero experience with the Oppo and you have probably tried everything already. Using it with the Switch isn't perfect though, it seems every now and then there will be a quiet but still audible pop or click in either the left or right channel. Not annoying enough to ruin the whole experience but it's still there.
