Godzilla Minus One was a good movie. Not only because SFX that puts Hollywood bloat to shame, but it had an actual story. Jan 11, 2024

      GOTS_SAC_2045. Enjoyable addition to the GOTS world. Interesting animation style: GTA meets BL cutscenes.

        I love Ghost in the Shell, and am excited for more with the the SAC voice cast, but the animation style so far is a big distraction. Like watching a mobile game cutscene, but with even worse facial animation. Major walks like a sex worker NPC, with her weird thick thighs/chicken leg thing. Batou is not nearly big/wide enough and now looks like a middle aged dad playing war with his polo in the first episode. Sigh

        It gets better futher in. There is quite a lot of details in the animation. I agree with her walk though. Scarlett had the same walk in the live-action adaption.

        Got YouTube Music recently, have to agree that these are the best recommendations I've gotten yet, haha— the service brings to attention some obscure tracks I end up really liking, always fun.

        Sound quality for YT Music is... passable. Haven't A/Bed but I'd say inferior to Spotify (I read it's 192kbps max). Eh, it's fine for discovery and casual listening

        I worked with the Google Play Music team at the beginning (a lot of the brains were part of an acquisition) and they are, by far, the biggest, most passionate music nerds I've met and the recommendations reflect that. The whole team is YT Music now.

        I thought 6 Underground was kinda disjointed and scattered story wise, but fairly entertaining if you just shut the brain off. Reminiscent of Deadpool 2, for some reason... just not as good.

        If one do not like Micheal Bays style (fast cars, gorgeous women, military machismo, explosions) then I doubt this will change your mind, but technically the movie is very impressive. Excellent image quality, rich neon colors.

        @m17xr2b Absolutely.

        Socrates, from Plato's Apology: I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he fancies he knows something, although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not fancy I do. In this trifling particular, then, I appear to be wiser than he, because I do not fancy I know what I do not know.
