Thinking about it, no duh, but I feel power delivery doesn't matter as much for BA IEMs as DD. None of the usual improvements IME. Mar 26, 2024 at 8:17 PM

Thanks, R! Picked it because I caught myself humming it and that's as good enough a reason for me, haha.

I'm sorry to hear, as absurd as this virus is it feels like it should have been long dealt with if people were more conscientious. Luck and health to you and yours!

Peppers are awesome, and I've recently gotten into snacking on crystallised ginger— refreshing taste! But yes all that aside I have honestly not left the house since early March (no reason to and can deal with school stuff from here) which, while reducing risk of infection, contributes to the topic of the music vid in original post :))

The physical CD has a shorter tracklist/run-time. Shorter listen, more coherent. The track "Fear Inoculum" is a serious grower. Their last album has a Kyuss-vibe/desert Rock-vibe to it. Very rewarding album.

Guess I'm happy that I'm on digital releases for now because... okay I was tempted to make a joke about growers but will abstain for the sake of the 9 year olds around ;)

Only have two full listens under my belt but I'm kinda kicking myself for not checking it out sooner. The constant profile posts last year were too effective a deterrent, haha.

Klipsches back, holy bassheads. Treble mildly irksome at loud (to me) levels, but perfectly tolerable. Haven't heard RTJ4 on these yet!

I only ever really played with front filters on them but would love to mess with the rear side too. I'm sure something can be done to tame the treble or bring forward the mids. Drivers seemed quite capable.

Same, don't want to mess with rear stuff cuz worried about irreversible changes in case screw em up. The treble is just tolerable at my usual volumes but these would be perfect for me if didn't need that one EQ tick for louder since I like how the midrange is coloured.

I have a guy who is an assistant building manager at the local university. I call him first on just about everything, and then he hires the local plumber/electrician/carpenter (if he can't do it himself) - usually one of his friends.

I pay him significantly - I could get most things done for 1/3, maybe 1/2 as much if I hired random guy based on price. BUT...my guy gets it done, right, the first time, so that is what I am really paying for.
