forget about "measurements" - the yggdrasil a2 is lovely
also spdif from a pioneer cdj resulted in a clearer and tighter sound than toslink from motherboard...the urge to upgrade is over
yggrasil LIM + unison upgrades cancelled. paid for the a2 upgrade instead...which shipped instantly.
i can confirm that a $20 pci-e usb expansion card has slightly improved the performance of my yggdrasil a1's lowly usb gen3 interface. better...
my current digital source is the yggdrasil A1 (been waiting for the LIM upgrade forever) feeding a jotunheim 2, balanced...while my analog source...
yggdrasil a1 balanced out > jot2...dont have totl headphones or iems but ummm still really enjoyable!
even toslink from motherboard is better (less closed in / muffled than gen3 usb)...LIM and unison usb ordered.
