    • The ultimate-ish webcam setup:
      • I'm happy to sell this as a bundle for 50% of current retail which, by my calcs, is:
        • Sony A6000 camera with 16-50mm kit lens and one 1st-party batt and two 3rd-party batteries: This is not avail new and thus hard to price. Google sez the price range is Typically $547–$650 without the kit lens, so let's say $400 is a good deal for this.
        • 3rd-party Dummy battery for Sony: $25 ($12)
        • Sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN lens: $340 ($170)
        • Bescor MP-101 Motorized Pan & Tilt Head with power supply, remote, short and very long cords: $130 ($65) (This makes life so much easier because it lets you tweak your framing in the camera without having to walk around and futz with it or have an assistant do so. I've got the Bescor bolted to a cheap display arm so it can easily be added to a pole at the back of your desk which is the ideal space-saving way to mount this.)
        • ATEM Mini: $195 ($100)
        • (if you want it) Epiphan AVIO HD HDMI capture thing: also not avail new so hard to price because the replacement model is bonkers expensive for an HDMI capture device. Let's say $75 is a good deal on this.
      • Total with just ATEM Mini: $747 ( :metal: price, eh?)
      • Add AVIO HD thing: $822
      • I'm working on pics of all this, but all the equipment is in very good condition and was bought new except for the Bescor, which was bought used and is also in good condition. Used in a non-smoking office occasionally visited by 2 ragdoll cats.
      • I'll want the buyer to cover the cost of shipping + insurance
      • This is open to amigos solamente right now

Any capture examples? I need to upgrade my work setup and this might actually be perfect. What did you move to?

I was thinking of getting the ZV-1F as a webcam FWIW.

    Here's a capture example:

    - Natural light from a giant window to my left
    - Recorded at 1080p60 via the ATEM Mini and OBS
    - Lens wide open at f1.4

I'm downsizing. DOn't do as much video anymore, so don't need the high end rig.

FWIW, any new USB interface HDMI capture card worth buying today IMO will be at least $450 new for 4K or 1080p. Considering this is now (for the new version) a $450 capture card new, this is a great deal in this market. Cards that cost less seem to be finicky. I paid $465 from BH Photo for an Inogeni 4K HDMI USB capture card recently and think it's worth every penny. If your card gives you zero issues and works out of the box without messing with it, then you have quoted a very good price.

Wow, I had no idea! Yeah, this Epiphan AVIO HD is solid and 100% reliable. It feels like metal casing, a bit heavy-ish, and it's been 100% reliable for years. It's nice that it doesn't have a built-in male USB connector like the Elgato Cam Link because that can break, etc.

What is your opinion on this @Mdkaler? That’s my first dislike and it seems like a trivial post.

Would you sell the non camera bits? I’d love to use my rx1r II for this

If we get through the weekend and no one has WISELY decided to snap up this KILLER deal, then yeah, I'll split the bundle and you've got dibs on the non-camera bits. <3

Imagine the POWER that a high definition view of every hair, drop of Arby's Sauce, and crumb of Chic Filet breading would have on viewers. The raw power

Thanks brother. I am only asking because I purposefully sent my A6000 and my lens collection to @purr1n so I could downsize. The RX1R II is perfect. If I have to move to something in the future, I'll think about the ZV-1F

Y'all slept on this! Got a buyer for the whole kit (maybe not the AVIO HD box, but def the whole rest of the bundle) in another nerd community I"m part of. So this is pending pending further information. :)

    > how long can you stream without issues?

@zerodeefex Hours and hours. I've never hit an upper limit. I do have to pull the rear LCD screen away from the camera for ventilation, but I've had the camera on for an 8-hour or more workday w/no issues and the other hardware has never hit an upper limit in multi-hour sessions. And before we got AC in that office, it would get HOT in there. Still no issues.

    Dibs on the avio box!

I would have done the whole thing if I thought it was prudent to add more cameras to the house :)

No worries brother. Curious to hear if you’ve used the camlink and if I should bother?

found we have a couple ZV-1s at work.
