Recently I add usb input for my msb platinum dac ii and also upgrade the dac to support up to 32/192khz.
The module I use is this,

I have to remove tos input since it's too high. I also buy a bare pcb to use it as base and hook the usb module on it.

The dac needs to have a ds-16x or 32x dsp module to use i2s input, the msb kindly provides the manual about this module, so after soldering 5 wires, the usb to i2s should work.

Here is the photo when I was doing experiment,

After remove original input card, spdif/tos/aes cannot work, but I found even a cheap usb card is better than old cs8412 based spdif input and more convenience to use.

I also bought a xing u30 ddc and will report once installed this modern ddc module.
