Will be biasing and trying it out tonight

 

Onboard heatsinks? That gives a lot of options for casing

Under 1% distortion up to 5 watts. It looks like a mini-F5.

Yup it's exactly what it is. They just decided a few days ago that there's enough interest to offer kit in the store. Cool feature - there's a set of jumpers that raise/lower H2.

 

The simplified circuit shows a bipolar power supply while the final circuit is single supply. I really want to mod this for a bipolar supply but that would basically mean a totally different PCB, which probably defeats the point of a simple DIY kit.

Maybe I'll do this stock and create a PCB for bipolar to satisfy my curiosity

 

Right now it doesn't work. Working on troubleshooting. Trying to bias voltages are not right

 

Another Mini has hatched. And we have a proud father ;-)
It was big fun and documentation is excellent.
Very well recommended as first time amp project.
Now I am lusting for a MOFO
