was curious if there are any serious chess player on here!
if so, where do you play online, what is your rating, and how often do you play?

My slow game rating is 1511

Blitz is only 1188.

Why? Because I have next to no openings memorized and am always playing by the seat of my pants. That's easier to pull off when you have 1 day/move than in a 5 minute blitz game.

In live, over the board chess, I'm probably around 1300 or so.

I used to play a ton, but probably hadn't played in nearly a year until this morning when I hopped into a random blitz game. I normally play with students at school, but the pandemic kind of put an end to that.

 

There are too many cheaters online. Chess.com is the only site that is proactive about banning them. Lichess enrages me.

 

I only play 5D chess.

 

I actualy thought, maybe mistakingly, that lichess was more proactive about catching cheaters.
for bullet and blitz, there's not really a way to cheat, but yeah with longer time limits, it can happen.

 

You can easily cheat in blitz and bullet. There are bots.
