Just wondering if you had any albums that you've been addicted to lately... you always post excellent music.

God seems to tell each individual different things. Things that contradict what God tells the other individuals. God is a f'ing troll, but I know what he tells me is 100% truth, and I question nothing!

Funny thing is, this picture ---> https://goo.gl/images/wjt5Z5 <--- that turns up in your image search was used in one of my old head-fi threads. You can even visit the thread if you follow the link. I was talking about my looking like the love child of a young Liza Minnelli and Winona Ryder. "Only less glamorous and more unkempt." Add to that a bit of "mutant rat" cuz I've got noticeable buck teeth and bizarrely long fingers and toes.

I quite like the style and ritual behind the British tea tradition, even if I myself am not a heavy drinker of black teas. I'm definitely more of a green tea fan. Usually I'll just prepare some Republic of Tea brand green tea on most days, but every now and then I get adventurous and import some grassy greens from Japan or some exotic oolong.

To heck with the snoots. All teas and traditions are equally neat-o in my eyes.

No, but I should be hearing the LAB II soon enough. I'm expecting.... weirdness! A lot of weirdness in the form of tiny metal vases. Dunno when I'll get a chance to hear the F series, and TBH I'm not really all that interested at the moment, but I'll likely audition 'em sooner or later.

I've been waiting on an Andromeda deal to go down, but it's taking quite a while. Now that these new models are out, I'm wondering if I should take that as a sign and put the Andro on hold or something.

My interest in certain genres tends to be cyclical, so at the moment I'm not actively searching for new classical (eastern or western) or traditional inspired folk of any stripe. Mostly submerging myself in the world of ambient techno and early Detroit stuff.

    An obligatory favorite though:

As for fursonas... LMAO. I'm not sure going into that would be such a good idea given OJneg's post and its subsequent likes in the "head-fi healing thread."

How do them Underground Resistance-style pressings sound on a tip top vinyl rig?

EDIT: remembered the guy's name, Ron Murphy, cutting engineer for all those early Detroit records, very distinctive sound.

This is an oddly creepy, can't stop but read through thread. I saw you dissed by baldr in Changstar (?) and some one excused it away as locker room talk, with no offense meant. Talk about foreshadowing. It must be hard being the only female in a web forum?

Hello, hmmm, this might be typical question but here i goes.
What gears get you started in this whole audio hobby thing? I know that you have been owned and audition many gear including some "legendary" level stuffs but i'm curious about that.

Damn... I wasn't going to send you creepy PMs with requests of marriage and stuff...

Do they trap the cable? Are they affected by the Schuman Resonance? Do they cause loss of sanity?

raisin d'etre is better than sour grapes.

Gear question: what is your favorite closed back? I remember you liked Focal Classic, but that was before PM3 and Sine were released.

Everyday stuff: The Republic of Tea's regular green tea
Occasionally: Gu Zhu Zi Sun green tea, Song Zhong Fenghuang oolong tea
    Maybe Dong Ding oolong.

    Edit: I also dig chai.

I think part of it is cultural: females are raised to be less into electronics in general. I have a twin brother and was always hanging out with his friends, playing Doom on our IBM computer and Sega Genesis. I got a mini disc player in high school and loved it. Was repairing arcade cabinets in college.

Electronics and cables and speakers are all "masculine" in appearance, at least that is how we are trained to see them. It's how they're marketed. It's the old WAF thing: women are supposed to freak out at big ugly electronic towers, while men are supposed to have them in their Man Caves. It's dumb.

Also a lot of it is visibility. I think there are more female audiophiles than you might think, it's just they don't go to meets as often or feel the need to join in discussions where the culture is mostly male. The larger meets I've been to were a bit surreal, cuz ppl kept staring at me like I wandered into the wrong room haha.

They are largely resilient to magic, but their society is directly connected to the Deep Roads, so they've seen their fair share of Darkspawn and red lyrium deposits. Perhaps their darkest secret is that they all eventually grow beards. Even the women.

Let's see... Off the top of my head:
    Clipping - Splendor & Misery
    Fluxion - Vibrant Forms II
    The new Alcest
    True Widow - Avvolgere
    Helms Alee - Stillicide
    Death Grips - Bottomless Pit
Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
Swans - White Light From the Mouth of Infinity
    Aluk Todolo - Voix
    Pretty much everything by CV313
