    I owned the Master-9, and have no clue if it sounds similar to the Master 10. In terms of Chi-Fi, I definitely prefer my Kinki EX-M1 to the sound of the Master 9. However, you could definitely look at the used market for that Hegel H360 that has already been mentioned, or try and find an H-300 (the predecessor) which would be in your price range as well.

    Also, if you are looking for help and impressions, being kind and thankful to the people trying to help you is always a good idea.

    Not many ppl here have great experiences with Audio-gd gear so him continuously asking about anything about it was like getting blood from a turnip.

    If all he heard elsewhere was how great it is on other boards, then he should just get it and be happy.

    He'll end up getting the Master 10 anyway. A used H360 still goes for around 3500USD, which is headed toward the "crazy and idiot" direction. The ones asking for less often have conditions (no electronic payment, + palpay fees, etc.)

    Schiit-Europe seems to be out of stock for everything. I think the EU wrecks people's anuses when they import from the USA with customs / duties (percentage of item and shipping and insurance cost) and then VAT.

    TBH, a Vidar would also fit the requirements. Slightly warm, strong bass, grips woofers, not the end-all be-all in microdetail or microdynamics, but not everyone can go for the crazy idiot Dartzeel.

    Paying the VAT is not too bad when you are dealing with Schiit prices.

    You don't need it anyway, but you might want it.


    Governments tax the s*** out of people everywhere. If you think about all of the taxes that you pay to keep the thing running.

    While professional workers and scientists etc are working hard to produce the cake, politician get the most attention and work daily how to cut the cake. Just keep it stable, do not f*** up is the best you can do as a political professional. Support good ideas and make way.

    Lean, efficient and objective state apparatus should be the goal.. To make room for companies that actually produce and add value.
