First time having beer this year I think? You can really taste the wheat, kinda like that lovely savoury mouth-filling aftertaste you get when you have a good rustic country loaf. This is making me reconsider my stance on beer.

If they have a category titled "desert stouts", this belongs in it...

Oh, that beer is screaming for a moderately sized scoop of some nice vanilla ice cream on top. I'm not kidding, beer floats with a hugely complex stout are pretty dope! Especially some of the Lac Stouts and Lac strawberry lagers.

You sound like Doc from Cannery Row...

I'm a huge fan of Stoneyard Brewing Co., but this stuff is sure not for everyone...

This reminds me that a local place once advertised a beer float, as in like a rootbeer float but with actual stout. Never did get to try it for fear that it'd split my insides open, lactose intolerance and all.

Add: chalk this up to stuff I forgot to hit send on. Dammit. Didn't know beet floats were actually a thing elsewhere, the notion still intrigues me but the thought of it makes me dry heave.

I'm gonna look into whether we get Stoneyard here at not-gougey prices, that stout looks like something I could really get into.

Not as good as I’d hoped, though everything tastes better when you drink it out of a castle.

Really excited for this one, canned on 7/17/2019, so super fresh. Adroit are local boys with some serious chops.

THIS. IS. LEGIT. Wonderful! I'm gonna go back to the store tomorrow and clear them out, since it's likely a one-and-done between Bruery and Dogfish Head.

Didn't sound awesome, but it pretty much is.

I just happened to be in the store when they had 1 4-pack left. The beer guy says they keep getting it in, but it just doesn't last on the shelf. Summer seasonal variety. Very subtle flavors, not overbearing. But it's the essence of a peanut butter cup.

Yeah I had their Christmas ale for the first time last year…definitely on my list. This was a 4-pack. I think it's the most expensive retail beer I've ever bought. But tasty. And enough alcohol.

(Once you get used to the 10% stouts, other beers are often a let down).

Fan of double IPAs in no small part because you don't drink as much/get that gut.

I think this sour is more a summer drink, but I'm not fussy. Really liking it...
