    You can mask off the bottom but as long as you have it on a flat surface there shouldn't be much bleed. The underside of the plate comes quite 'scuffed' from the factory so if you want it looking pristine you will have to take some solvent and polish to it anyway.

    Thank you! I already hit it with solvent and removed all residue from the plate. I just want to make sure I don't get paint on back. Already made that mistake before.
