    Let's be civil. I don't know all the details.

    @Garuspik: unless you were drunk, which is kind of a weak excuse anyway, I don't think there is need to wish cancer upon an ex-customer and his family.

    Just reiterate that you cannot refund because the money was already spent on tooling and materials. You can be stern about this without resorting to such unnecessary behavior.

    I've been drunk and an ass before to many posters, but I'm pretty sure I have never wished cancer upon anyone and their family from the bottom of my heart.

    This. I am neither Jewish (although I've probably been to enough bar mitzvahs to be an honorary Jew) nor gay but if someone actually has evidence that he's been sprouting either kind of nonsense, I will call him out on Head-Fi.

    Let's not turn this into a witch hunt. I can only take things at face value and what happened here. I neither have the time nor inclination to investigate misdeeds elsewhere reported via hearsay.

    I don't care what happens on Discord channels, HF, 4chan, etc. The Internet is a cesspool. I don't frequent those places and I honestly would expect lower standards of behavior there. I've already seen some of that garbage. I'm not out to be Lord of Social Justice of the Internet.

    My two worthless cents on this matter and how handle it. Regardless of forum, posting information like this is going to start a witch hunt. There is going to be a mix of accusations and social justice warriors that are going to want to get their say. I believe @Gaspasser @Garuspik @purr1n should be handling this matter privately where there is a slapping and a reminder of forum conduct and expectations. Then a public summary of the situation, resolution and formal apology is made. I understand that many believe that an issue with an member and an MOT should be a public matter on the forum. I just think it is going to get out of hand before it gets resolved.

    I would have stopped my complaining after his last normal reply, but then came the insults. Yes, I can easily resell the headphone. However, I don’t like being talked to like that for no good reason. Hell, if he would’ve just told me to go F myself, I wouldn’t have even made the profile posts. All I wanted is a simple “my bad, I was drunk/high/tired (insert any excuse here), I crossed a line, sorry”.
    I even asked for an apology over PM.

    I don’t think we need to do anything other than hold MOTs to a higher standard.

    People have a bad day and say crazy shit. I’m ashamed of some of the stupid things I’ve written and said, but I’m just a dumb dude on an Internet forum. Still, I always try to apologize and learn to be a better person.

    However, I consulted many people and held off going public until I was advised to. Unfortunately, I am a bit of a social justice warrior.

    I've had quite a bit of chat via pm's while discussing imbalance and replacement cups. I had thought I was talking to 2 different people sometimes. Polar opposites. From curt and angry to professional and helpful. I wonder if he doesn't have someone helping him with social media?

    I hope this is the case and would explain how someone can be so caring towards cskippy, yet act extremely different other times.

    Beyond the insult issue, were they a month late on delivery after they gave you a guaranteed ETA in writing?

    That's also pretty unacceptable in my books. I understand production uncertainties and I will try to be accommodating if the manufacturer is upfront about delivery constraints. But I travel and if you get something to me three weeks after a previously indicated and confirmed shipping date, I might not get it until a few months later.

    I won't cheat him out of money, but I'd consider it mostly kosher to send the cans back and request a refund through the credit card company given the circumstances.

    I’m only concerned about the insults. I can’t imagine the stress of a small company trying to fill large numbers of orders, I figure the stress played a role here. In fact, I will also drop my PP case if I get an apology for the mistreatment.

    Agreed and of course it's your call. I guess what grinds my gears is the shipping date being provided and then broken. "Probably next week but may be delayed" is all fine and good. "I will ship this next week" with a 4-week delay is less okay. Just a common courtesy for people who need to plan deliveries in advance.

    I feel sorry for him, the MOT. He said that those curses he made came from the heart. Such a heart is miserable for other reasons that have nothing to do with this hobby. He is a troubled and lost man that needs help and deliverance. Evil breeds evil and now people will start cursing him, only compiling the negativity in the world he lives in.

    Hopefully he can make things right. Those small words were painful to read.

    wow. im hoping he will chime in. i have had a few "short" to the pont answers from him but nothing at all disrespectful like that. i do like my pair a lot and now i hope i dont end up with an issue with them.

    This. Not defending , but the comments come from so far out of nowhere and are so over the top ridiculous (considering the exchange) that my first reaction was shenanigans as well.

    Hello, just read this thread and private messages with topic starter and I’m terrified. I’ve recently asked one of my workers to answer pms and emails cause I’m concentrated on assembling of headphones myself. And yes I told him not to make refunds and ask people to wait more cause we’re on a finish line.
    That was a huge mistake to let first year student communicate from this account.
    Sure this was absolutely unacceptable and he is fired.
    I’m over a year on Sbaf and I don’t think I ever told anything offensive.

    Boy, this situation is messy. Hope that all sides can find some sort of resolution here.

    @Garuspik, I totally understand that you're a busy person and probably can't afford to spend a ton of time here answering PMs and emails. Having someone to do that probably makes a lot of sense. I'd probably suggest that in the future, have the person making posts on your behalf use another account; I think the staff here can easily change their tag to reflect the fact they represent your company.

    That being said, if possible, I think it would alleviate a lot of concern here if you could provide some sort of proof that the messages weren't sent by you.
