So my LCD-2 are the original non-Fazor version and getting quite old at this point. I use them quite heavily so I'm not surprised an earpad fell off.

I assume the replacement glue ring from them is really overpriced. I picked up some mounting tape from a hardware store but it didn't really work.

Is there a place to get replacement glue rings or should I bite the bullet and just go get some super glue and stick it back on that way?

Makes me really appreciate the way Sennheiser attaches their ear pads.

Oh man. No superglue please. You could try a two faced adhesive tape.
Do you think you needed a new thread to ask that?

I tried some 2 sided mounting tape, didn't really work well. I suppose I could try another brand but its pretty sticky.

Also didn't see another thread to post about this in.

Have you tried cleaning the old adhesive before applying the new double sided tape ?

    3M does pretty good stuff.
