You had some kinda scatpack chrysler no? Those around 450-500 horse?

So that's around 1300 in car tax, petrol at 6 a gallon, income tax 23 to 44% - top tier is at 75k/yr.

Here if you're not destitute in the street eating in soup kitchens, you're evading taxes. It's the #1 survival skill.

Anyhoo good luck with the move.

I did it a few years ago because I wanted to sell the house in venice while people with the money to buy it weren't yet thinking about it all being underwater before they could flip it.

Didnt have 2 kids but do have an 80+yo granny with 40yrs of accumulated cruft.

Not sure which one of had it easier! :bird:

Only Manhattan assholes don’t hold doors or say “thank you”. To the extent that it’s possible to generalize, you won’t find the norms of southern politeness here in NYC. But people who don’t give up subway seats to pregnant women are routinely shamed and a random stranger will always help carry a stroller or suitcase up a flight of stairs.

However, if you walk slowly in the middle of the sidewalk, stand on the left side of the escalator, or step up to the counter without knowing your order, strangers will wish for your death.

Good luck with the move @purr1n !

i’m a seventh gen Texan and direct descendant of one of the first Texas Rangers who fought in the war against Mexico. We still have 350 acres of land east of Austin of the 1600 that was awarded to my ancestors for their efforts. Original deed is in Spanish. BTW, the Texas Ranger museum in Waco is worth an hour or so. Right off I-35 before the river if you’re ever passing through.

I had been sitting on it for years. I figured it deserved to go to someone who was actually going to do something with it.

Get the finger out of the trigger guard until ready to destroy something, please.

Edit: at least in Texas you can dump the idiotic bullet button and get a standard capacity magazine.

I ran across a 10 round AR15 magazine in one of my parts boxes the other day and for the life of me I couldn't really place what the heck it was :).

Please edit that. I understood what (I hope) you meant, but only after I'd lost my coffee.

Hmmm, I’m not immune to writing things that can be easily misconstrued, but this one escapes me. I’ll try to edit it:)

Perhaps "ran across" or "came across" or "came upon" vs. "came on". I had to read several times to understand what could possibly be misconstrued.

Whoa, so this is really a thing? I thought @purr1n was kidding initially. Came back about a week later and it hit me.

Well, I'll miss you! I was only able to see you like... once or twice while I was in LA, and I think it should have happened a bit more. Hopefully I'll get to see you again at one of the CanJams, or if we do like a SBAF meet somewhere close to you, I'll definitely fly out.

I’d love some of those power cables/speaker cable if @tommytakis doesn't need them all.
