Spring cleaning! Stuff I don't use any more has got to go. Please read entire post!

Magneplanar MMG – These are black cloth on black side rails. These worked last year when I tried them temporarily with an Aegir. They are about 18 years old and havent had much use in the last 10 years. There is a hole cut on one of the speaker socks near the binding posts where I did a fuse bypass mod and never got around to doing the other. This can be easily reversed and new socks purchased to make like new. I also made some solid oak painted stands to raise them up and set them vertically. Original stands included also. These have been spoken for.

Standesign Stand – 4 shelf stand of powdercoated welded steel and removeable MDF shelves. This is about 25 years old and I seem to remember it was made in England. There are spikes for the top shelf for Turntable, but the spikes for the stand feet are long gone. This is a bit dirty in the pictures but should clean up pretty well with a bit of touch up paint. This has been in my garage for the last couple years. Price FREE*

Akai AT-V04 AM-FM Tuner – Early 80s vintage, Cosmetically is in really good shape. It is a digital tuner but has an analog tuning knob. I never tried the presets, but theres a battery backup for that. It doesn't sound bad but I had planned on getting it calibrated and never did. I've heard these can sound pretty good with some calibration and mods. I recently replaced this with a Carver TX-11a. Price: FREE*

(SOLD) Sencore TC162 Tube Tester – This is in really good shape for its age. The outside case isn't perfect but I've seen them a lot worse. Its missing the chicken head knob for the function selector. I never had any issues turning it with my fingers. The manual is in great shape. As far as I can tell, this will test about anything as long as is isn't a 4 pin power tube. I had it calibrated about 10 years ago and then only used it once or twice after that. I've seen these go for $275 on Ebay when in decent shape. I just don't use this any more and would rather see it go to a good home.
Price: $150 plus shipping (net to me) to Friends and established Contributors in CONUS

    • *Yeah these are FREE. The only catch is that I wont ship this stuff and I don't like to bother with Craigslist. You come here and pick it up. Pick up one or all. I'm about 4-4.5 hours from Milwaukee, Twin Cities, or Kansas City. A bit less from Chicago. We can talk about holding stuff for a little while if you cant get here right away. But not too long.

Friends have first priority on all items including the tube tester. Then established Contributors. No Randos at this time

I just cleaned the post up a bit because there may have been confusion. The Sencore is for sale and I will ship it. The rest is free but you gotta come get it.

Last call to Friends on the Maggie’s and tube tester before they go to Contributors that have contacted me.

Super that you are giving those Maggies away! Always suspected that I would love them, but, so far, have never even got to hear a pair. Anyway, I'm far off. And I hear tell that even the tiny desk-top ones need plenty of space to sound good.

Hope they go to a loving home soon :)

Not sure if "seller" feedback is encouraged on SBAF but here goes:

I just picked up the MMGs from @crazychile. Everything went smooth and the MMGs work just fine when I plugged them in for a short listen.

Thank you very much @crazychile for the MMGs.
