FS: an amp and a pre amp

    Have a Lance Chocrane 6l6 amp, 5u4g rectifier and 12au drivers. 30-35 watts per side. A great sounding amp, selling as I was able to buy my Fisher kx-200 back from Marv. Cannot afford both so its for sale.
    Pro- open, fast with excellent detail
    Con- crappy binding post and lamp cord power cord. I replaced the rca jacks with DH labs all copper ones. Was going to replace the binding posts and power cord.
    Lance is anmazing amp builder, finds fantastic old transformers and builds amps around them.
    I spent $550 on retubing the amp with rca 12au, sylvania 6l6 and rectifier all NOS from Andy at vitage tubes. Included a new set of JJ 6l6 tubes.
    I sent the amp to Lance who went checked ever solder joint and corrected some "improvments" that were done returning the amp to his orginale build.
    There a pot on the top which is disconnected, its not very good.
    I have $1,600 into the amp at present will sell for any fair offer to friends and contributors, would like to sell it for $1,200. The amp really is an excellent peice and I would not be selling it if I did not have the KX-200. call if any questions 734-478-0871

    Lance Cochrane amps look homely but sound really great. Like better than a lot of the hyped vintage stuff great. I used mine with a passive pre as well. good luck with the sale.

    I'll replace the power cord and binding posts at cost for a prospective buyer if they have nervosa about those(not really a concern imo), my service fee would be listening to it for a couple of days.
