Salvaged from HD580s these are black paper screens ready for a new home. I have a tendency to hoard whatever I find interesting and these were for my modded closed HD650 sennheisers. Some have a slight sag or other minor imperfections due to age yet all sound the same and are 99% identical to the ones in the made in germany HD580. Note, drivers are not included.

Replacing the screen isn't destructive and can be 100% reversed. An IFixit kit or similiar plastic prying tool is recommended.

I'm pretty behind on this, but what are the benefits of the paper baffles (as opposed to silk)?

Silk, as far as I know has only been employed on the HD580 prototype as a white-ish screen and never made it into production. It was always this paper black material at first, then black plastic for a bit and finally the common silver metal. The drivers had many more variations than the baffle.
