I think anything that's lived in an earhole or been exposed to dandruff should--by law, in fact--be sold for no more than 50% of new, with appropriate discounts on top of that for any lack of babying, rough treatment, excessive age, etc. I am baffled by the inflated resale price folks pay for headphones. Do y'all have no pride!?! Anyway, these Andromedas have been babied. Stored in a pelican case with dessicant, rarely worn outside, handled gently, etc. So how about $550 for these (~50% of $1099). Friends only. I need to walk away with $550 after fees and shipping, so as you think about what the cost will be to you, add enough for shipping and insurance from 87571 via a method that won't cause either side of the deal to shed any tears or sorrow, and add enough for PayPal fees. I can provide pics, but honestly, if you're gonn a be sweatin' me about stuff like paint scratches on the edges of the casing or shit like that, I'll probably just pass on selling to you. These are in great shape and have been babied, but life's too short to sell to anyone who wants a new product at 50% off of new prices. These will come with the factory 3.5mm single-ended cable, and if you want I can throw in a bunch of tips I haven't worn (i've settled on something taht works pretty well with my JVC FD01s so I don't need all these other rando tips), along with a balanced cable. The balanced cable is that cheapo from Amazon that multiple members here have used. These will NOT come with the factory case because that's in a warehouse somewhere and the shitty shipping company we hired to get it here is more full of flakes than my hair was in high school. I'll be happy to ship these to you in the wee Pelican case they've lived in basically since I bought them new from CA. If you want, I can go to the Taos Pueblo and hire a Native American shaman to weave a cloth out of the hair of young maidens, bless it in the waters of Blue Lake, dye it with the blood of sacrificial animals, bake it in the New Mexico sun, and wrap the Andros in this cloth before sending it to you. Or I can just use some tissue paper or bubble wrap or something. Your choice, but the shaman part will cost extra time and money.
