For sale is my DIY FirstWatt F5. This was a premium build with top shelf parts using Peter Daniel’s thread on diyaudio back around 2009/2010. Absolutely killer sound for the price. Bought this a few years ago from a friend. The highlights include:

    - Dual Mono PS with Plitron Transformers

    - Nichicon Gold Tune and Jensen 4 Pole Caps in PS

    - Caddock, Mills, Panasonic, Riken resistors in the amp circuit

    - OCC copper wiring with Cardas connectors (RCA’s and speaker terminals)

    - Front Panel Express - Front and Rear Panels with an oversized chassis to compensate for the heat.

Disclaimer: This is a DIY amp, while I've had great success with it running high efficiency speakers (ie, no noise), I can't guarantee how it will run in your system. In addition, this amp does run HOT, so keeping it in a cool/well ventilated environment is advised.

Price - Less than the cost of the parts, $1100 shipped. Local pickup in the San Diego area. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask.

Looks seriously well done. Somebody here should buy this for their planers or sensitive 2 ch setup.
