Selling my beloved Grado GH2 headphones. They were reterminated to a furutech rhodium XLR by moon audio and the headband has been swapped for the superior turbulent labs XL teal leather headband. Will come with TTJV deluxe flat pads installed (much more linear, punchy, and comfortable than stock), but will also come with the stock L-cush pads.

Originally bought these to try after getting the hemps and liking them a lot. The grados have exceptional synergy with the ECP 3F (and all ECP headphone amps I've heard), sounding very smooth and punchy. With the flat pads, the GH2 have a similar more balanced sound as the hemps, but with resolution a few steps higher.

I'm only selling because I've decided to be more rigorous about streamlining my setup. I'm keeping only utopia for main headphone listening, and my tommy-modified 580 for a reference. I really really hate parting with this GH2, but it doesn't get enough listening time from me with the utopia around, and I shouldn't keep something just because it's "good enough".

$500 for friends and known contributors with paypal fees and shipping included. The retermination fee was $80, leather headband was $60, and TTJV deluxe pads were $50.
