FS: HE-500

Hello all...need to fund a purchase, so one of my all-time favorite headphones has to go.

I bought these from @Marvey a couple of years ago for $333 (the price was his doing). Any measurements you see on the old Changstar threads came form this specific pair.

I must confess they've been through the ringer. They were on the original Changstar loaner tour back in the day. The original headband broke on Marv, so he replaced it with an HE-400 headband. This is great at meetups when people try your headphones thinking they're the 400s and then start to question their sanity when they don't remember the 400s ever sounding this good.

The earpads are jergpads, which you don't see a lot of these days. They're old, covered in fuzz, and fairly well compressed, but still sound pretty fantastic in my opinion. You can "upgrade" to any other earpads of your choosing, but honestly...these still do the trick.

I have the old stock silver cable, but also have the newer custom cable pictured below. I got it from Impact Audio over at Etsy. I make no claims to sound improvement. It's nice a nice braided cable with quality connectors.

No original box or carrying case. I'll pack them up securely.
