Up for sale is my Manley 300B Neo Classic pre-amp / headamp with remote control.

It's in excellent condition and works perfectly. I've only had it for a few weeks, and the guy I bought it from took very good care of it. I bought this on a whim as I've always wanted to try Manley tube gear, but upon reflection I would rather upgrade my lowly Technics turntable to a high-end VPI, and need the funds to do so.

The sound of this thing is pretty incredible. It's bar none the best headamp I've ever heard (I've demoed most of the popular flagships) and a killer sounding preamp. Going back to my Saga preamp and Cavalli CTH headamp is clearly an audible downgrade, but one I can live with.

The tubes are a pair of NOS Jan OD3, a pair of Gold Lion U77/GZ34S, a pair of vintage Sylvania 6SL7s, and a pair of Gold Lion PX300Bs. I was told by the original owner (he did a lot of tube rolling) that the Gold Lions were far superior to EHs, and more musical than EMLs. He also tried a pair of Royal Princess 300Bs, which had slightly more resolution but was not quite as rich and full-bodied as the Gold Lions.

Comes with original foam and box packaging, power cable, manual, and paperwork. The tubes are covered and taped with large bubble packing wrap.

I'm looking to net $3000, half the price of a brand new unit. Would rather make a local sale in SoCal, but if you want me to ship, it will be an extra $50.

PM me if interested - thanks!
