FS: Metrum Adagio

I like this DAC a lot but between my Comet (headphone/office listening), modded DirectStream (passive speaker listening), and the Marcel Van Gevel ValveDAC (critical speaker listening) that’s reaching completion, I don’t have a place for this.

This is a NOS DAC that I’ve found to be really revealing of different HQP filters and pairs really well with most headphones, as most headphones lean a bit bright for me and the Adagio gives a nice bump in perceived soundstage.

This has the DAC2 chips which I prefer to the DAC3 chips. The DAC3 chips lose some of that special density in favor of a more “hifi” sound that feels like an awkward in between step.

I have the original shipping box and remote. I have this listed for $2499 elsewhere but will sell for $2350 shipped CONUS for friends/contributors. Everyone else pays shipping. I can ship this internationally and received instructions from Metrum on how to swap voltages so I would be able to convert and test with a step up/step down transformer.
