Time for spring changeup. Two items for sale - these are both priced for Friends and Contributors, and net to me (you cover any shipping, PP fees). Payment via PayPal (friend for Friends works for me), and they'll be shipped FedEx with proper insurance. International's ok, as long as you're good with the fees (shipping, customs, insurance).

SOLD! Meze Empyreans. $2000. Not a scratch or ding. I've mainly used the velour pads, which have been cleaned with alcohol. I really like these, best made, most comfortable. Not neutral, but fairly detailed, and designed for no fatigue, listen all day use (along with the excellent comfort). These have no nicks, dings, etc. I baby my gear.

SOLD! PI2AES. $190. Only need one chain these days, so this can go. I've used it with Roon, feeding mainly a Pavane (I2S). It's plug and play, with PI, Hat, case, I2S board, and PS. One side of the case is missing (wasn't available when the I2S card was first available).

Friends and Contributors get first crack, then contributors after a few days, then I'll probably open it up for others - though prices may adjust a bit.

Also (Friends) - I shoot for aggressive pricing, and these price points seem inline with that approach. If you have current data (examples) that indicate otherwise (that these aren't aggressive), please let me know.

    NOW OPEN TO CONTRIBUTORS!
    PI2AES SOLD.
    Meze Empyrean SOLD.

Ha! It's sat here unused for some ~4mo because I didn't want to part with it Michael :) At some point, I felt I needed to help others partake. And thanks for your continued generous support of our community!

one great aspect about this headphone, it's from a uber clean environment and won't arrive smelling like bad smoke, nor man perfume, hair spray nor febreeze.

The pi2aes new with PI3B is about $250 (including PS and case). Am I missing something?

There is also the I2S board, which I think might have been $50 (it’s also no longer available).

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yup, I2S card included, which is NOT what comes stock (@Michael Kelly correct me if I’m wrong). Price was a high for my target of ‘aggressive’, so lowered the cost to $190. @penguins has to this evening to claim if he wants it, else it’s available for the adjusted price.

The PI2AES has a built-in i2s output that conforms to the audio-gd pinout (as well as others). The add-on i2s adapter is the exact same functionality but with the PS audio pinout.
